What impact will the foreclosures of today have on the future of children tomorrow? The very integrity of America is at stake. Will the children of today that will be adults tomorrow be proud to be American citizens?

On November 4th the country will get a chance to take back America from those who have betrayed the middle class and whose arbitrary actions have made the world lose respect for USA. Above all the security at home has been badly shaken – thanks to the foreclosure crisis. In a chain reaction unemployment has worsened. It is at its worst since the last five years. Millions of houses are in foreclosure and small business concerns, that are the very backbone of America, have been affected.

The hope is that the people of America are by nature resilient and have previously faced up to challenges. With a change of leadership and plenty of hard work the foreclosure tide can be stemmed and a push forward begun.

Many are pinning their hopes on Obama because of his foresight, judgment, persistence and leadership. He inspires hope and the young are coming forward to give him support. The foreclosure crisis has changed their apathetic attitude.

Obama has had the courage to oppose the war in Iraq, gives priority to climate change and thinks that women should be given equal pay for the same type of work. Obama talks about foreclosure solutions, equal access of all to education, health care and affordable housing. He talks of engagement and not aggression.

There is hope that if the right types of business people are brought together a working solution can be chalked out to solve effectively the foreclosure problem – the root cause of the present ailing economy. Being elected is not so much about having legislation tagged with one’s name but of having the courage to do the right thing despite constraints. Against the background of the foreclosure drama Obama seems to many to be the right candidate.
The choice of Roman Catholic Joe Biden as vice presidential candidate was a sagacious move. Biden has a wealth of experience as regards foreign affairs. Individually he is a great human being who authored the Violence Against Women Act.

Obama talks about investments in science, alternative energy, technological advancement and millions of new jobs that are not mere jobs but green jobs. Above all tax cuts will help the average American to recover from the foreclosure tornado.
